A commitment to innovative, sustainable delivery solutions has seen parcel delivery firm DPD expand its fleet of autonomous robots and open a robot base in Lincoln.

The opening of a new base in Lincoln is part of a planned nationwide rollout that could eventually see up to 30 UK depots deploying robots for local deliveries.

In this video as part of Sustainable Mobility Week, DPD's head of sustainability Olly Craughan highlights that achieving sustainability in delivery services requires a multi-faceted approach as there is no single solution.

Here, data plays a critical role, enabling DPD to optimise robot deployment, enhance efficiency and reduce environmental impact effectively.
