Toyota and Lexus will showcase a range of cars and light commercials for fleets to assess at CCIA.
This year will see the debut of the Lexus LBX at the event, an all-new compact crossover that is a new core model for the Lexus range. Equipped with a new 1.5-litre self-charging hybrid powertrain, this is the smallest Lexus model yet.
The all-new Toyota C-HR is also making its first appearance at CCIA and will be available to test drive in plug-in hybrid (PHEV) form.
This second generation of Toyota’s coupe-styled mid-size SUV offers increased powertrain choice, with 1.8 and 2.0-litre hybrid and 2.0-litre plug-in hybrid versions.
Company Car in Action will be held at Millbrook Proving Ground next Wednesday and Thursday (12 and 13 June).
Neil Broad, One Toyota general manager fleet services, said: “Company Car in Action is a great opportunity for fleet managers to learn from our dedicated team about our multi-pathway approach towards future powertrains and how they are key to achieving the goal of carbon neutrality.
“The Lexus LBX and Toyota C-HR represent the latest advances in our hybrid and plug-in hybrid technology, and, together with the wide range of models we are taking to the event, demonstrate how we have the right vehicles and powertrains to meet today’s customer needs and priorities.”
The Toyota and Lexus line-up for Company Car in Action includes:
- Toyota C-HR, a C segment plug-in hybrid SUV
- Toyota RAV4, a medium SUV plug-in hybrid
- Toyota Corolla Touring Sports, a hybrid estate
- Toyota bZ4X, a battery electric SUV
- Toyota Proace, a battery electric medium duty van
- Toyota Proace City, a battery electric compact van
- Toyota Corolla Commercial, a hybrid car-derived van
- Lexus LBX, a hybrid compact crossover
- Lexus NX 450h+, a plug-in hybrid medium SUV
- Lexus RX 450h+, a plug-in hybrid large SUV
- Lexus RZ 450e, a battery electric SUV
Fleet decision-makers and leasing company stakeholders will get unrivalled access to more than 200 of the latest electric and hybrid cars and vans at the hugely popular event.
A total of 34 manufacturer brands have signed up to the fleet test-driving event of the year which will feature a host of exclusive first drives for fleet decision-makers, including the Omoda 5 SUV, the first UK car from the Chery-owned Chinese new entrant, and Ford’s electric Explorer. Nissan will unveil its full-electric Interstar van at the event.
And it’s not just cars as visitors also get the first UK drives of US brand Canoo’s futuristic electric van LDV130 and Scottish electric off-road vehicle manufacturer Munro’s electric pick-up truck as part of Vans in Action at the show.
