Leasys has completed the acquisition of ALD Automotive and LeasePlan’s activities in Portugal and Luxembourg, respectively.
The sale of the businesses was part of a commitment made by ALD to receive clearance by the European Commission for the acquisition of LeasePlan and increases Leasys fleet by around 30,000 vehicles.

Confirmation of the Leasys deal comes after Drivalia similarly completed the acquisition of ALD Automotive in Ireland.
Drivalia has also acquired the subsidiaries of ALD Automotive in Norway and of LeasePlan in the Czech Republic and Finland. The joint operations of which represent 70,000 vehicles and approximately 430 employees.
Leasys was created in April, following the consolidation of Leasys and Free2move Lease, with Stellantis launching the new multi-brand leasing company in a 50/50 joint venture with Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance.
Stellantis says it wants Leasys to become the European leasing leader, reaching a fleet of one million vehicles by 2026.
