Skoda has updated the Enyaq IV for the 2023 model year, introducing a revised trim line-up and software enhancements.
The Enyaq is now offered in base or Sportline Plus variants, with four new option packages available to tailor the specification.
Customers can choose from Clever, Plus, Advanced and Maxx packs, with each of the top three packs building on the one lower in the range. Individual options are also available.
Clever (£2,755) includes keyless entry, adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitor, heated front seats and steering wheel, blinds for the rear windows and privacy glass.
Plus (£4,830) adds an electrically operated tailgate with kick activation (virtual pedal), LED Matrix beam headlights, an electrically adjustable driver’s seat with memory function and Travel Assist.
Advanced (£6,980) features a head-up display, heated rear seats, heated windscreen and a Canton sound system.
The Maxx package (£9,375) contains electrically adjustable front seats with memory function and lumbar support, a massage function for driver's seat, 360-degree camera system, adaptive dampers and rear side airbags.
Prices for the Enyaq start at £38,480 for the 60 model, which comes with a 58kWh battery and has a 246-mile range. The Enyaq 80 starts at £42,435 and uses a 77kWh battery. It can cover up to 338 miles. Sportline Plus models can be specified as an 80 or and 80x. The latter has two electric motors, giving all-wheel drive and 265PS.
All new Enyaq models benefit from the latest version of Skoda’s MEB platform software (v3.2) which introduces a range of improvements and updates. These include the ability for future updates to the car’s operating software, made over the air (OTA).
In addition, the new software includes an upgrade to the navigation system and head-up display along with visual improvements to the heating and ventilation infotainment screens to make the user experience smoother. Remote Access for three years is now a standard feature on all Enayq iV models, having previously been an option.
Remote Access enables the customer to view their Parking Position and vehicle status with their smartphone. This is an addition to the current app features which includes remote charging, climate control and departure planner.
The software update also delivers improvements to the car’s high voltage battery management systems. The changes further reduce electrical losses from the battery to ensure that drivers can maximise their driving range.
