CMAC Group promotes Dave Rose
CMAC Group has promoted Dave Rose to the role of director of supply and procurement.
Rose joined CMAC in January 2022 as head of enterprise to help drive the company’s international expansion.
He bought more than 15 years’ experience in the global taxi and small vehicle industry to his role at CMAC.
Prior to joining the company, Rose was at AutoCab where he headed the IGo taxi platform and app. Autocab was sold to ride-hailing giant, Uber, in 2019.
Neil Micklethwaite, chief operating officer (COO) at CMAC Group, said: “Dave’s promotion is part of our drive build on the fantastic success we had in 2022, and plan for the future, by investing in our people in some key areas across the business.”
“In his new role, Dave will be responsible for strengthening our supplier infrastructure in our existing core territories (UK, Ireland, Spain, Portugal and Spain) and developing them in new ones across Europe and further afield, ensuring that our clients can keep moving safely across the globe.
“Alongside this, he will be further integrating new strategic supplier partnerships, managing our requirement for co-ordinators and owning our market-leading compliance and audit regime.”
Ogilvie Fleet appoints Elise Bollard
Ogilvie Fleet has appointed Elise Bollard as head of business development.
As a UK-wide role, working with 13 area managers across the Scottish, Northern and Southern teams, Bollard will be customer facing, as the first port of call for fleets of between 50 and 300 vehicles.
Bollard brings experience in fleet, sales and the leasing industry, having held the role of area fleet manager at Volkswagen Group UK. She was also area customer manager at Honda UK. Prior to this, Bollard was new business development manager at Ogilvie Fleet.

Bridle Group expands Board of Directors
Bridle Group has announced the addition of Tano Di Girolamo and Nickie Brooks to its Board of Directors, with immediate effect.
Di Girolamo has been appointed as chief strategy officer (CSO) and Brooks as chief compliance officer (CCO). They will join Neil Fox chief executive officer (CEO), Duncan Fitzgerald, chief operating officer (COO) and Gareth Jones chief financial officer (CFO).
Di Girolamo has more than 25 years’ experience in the leasing sector and sold his business, Fulton Vehicle Leasing to Bridle in 2018.
Fox said: “We will no doubt benefit from his knowledge, and he will be pivotal in managing and enhancing our funder relationships, developing our franchise model and seeking acquisition opportunities.”
Brooks will assume responsibility for ensuring that the business continues to have a coordinated approach to governance and regulatory compliance, the company said.
Brooks also sold her business, Alternative Route, to Bridle in 2017. She has more than 40 years’ experience in the motor and finance sectors.
Fox added: “We have ambitious plans in terms of both business growth and ongoing development in the next few years.
“We have invested in our infrastructure, with the addition of extra staff, new offices, improvements in our CRM system, and marketing strategy.
“We are receiving an increased level of interest in our franchise model, which we are keen to grow, and we are actively looking at acquisition opportunities, to complement our existing offices and organic growth plans.”
Central Contracts appoints Timothy Alcock as marketing director
Contract hire and car leasing company Central Contracts has appointed Timothy Alcock as marketing director.
Alcock will be responsible for overseeing the ongoing development and implementation of Central Contract’s online growth strategies.
He will be responsible for developing and executing marketing plans, identifying new marketing opportunities, and enhancing the company’s overall brand awareness.
He is stepping up from his existing role as head of online at the leasing broker, a position he has held since 2016.
Alcock brings 14 years’ experience in marketing in agency and client-side roles.

Jason Laight joins Pocket Box as COO
Jason Laight has been appointed as COO at vehicle and driver management company, Pocket Box.
In his new position, Laight will be tasked with working across the business to help expand Pocket Box’s ecosystem.
This will include enhancing the company’s multi-channel proposition; increasing data integrations with fleet and automotive software solutions; and generating customer demand.
Laight has more than 20 years of experience in telematics, workforce applications and software development, primarily in the fleet, transport, and employee management sectors.
Most recently, he was head of partnerships at Inseego UK, formerly Ctrack UK and Ireland, where he was responsible for developing the company’s indirect sales channel.
Prior to this, he has held senior management roles at Fieldmotion, Romexworld and Cybit.
