Telematics provider Quartix and Right Fuel Card have agreed a partnership deal to help fleets cut emissions and enhance efficiency.

The collaboration integrates Right Fuel Card’s fuel payment network – covering more than 85% of UK’s fuel stations – with Quartix’s telematics technology.

Right Fuel Card fuel payment solutions are currently used by more than 20,000 businesses, while Quartix’s telematics is installed in 800,000-plus vehicles.

“We’re delighted to partner with Quartix to deliver a game-changing solution for UK fleets,” said Nick Myers, head of customer success at Right Fuel Card, part of the Edenred Group.

“Our expertise in fuel card management, paired with Quartix’s industry-leading telematics, ensures businesses can manage fuel expenses and vehicle performance in one place, saving time, money, and resources while driving sustainability.”

Quartix’s telematics system provides real-time insights into vehicle locations, driver behaviour, and fuel efficiency, with features such as automated maintenance alerts, driver scorecards, and comprehensive reporting.

When integrated with Right Fuel Card’s fuel payment data, fleet managers can identify inefficiencies, prevent fuel misuse, and optimise routes for maximum cost savings.

Ben Ryder, Quartix partnerships manager, explained: “Our mission is to help businesses operate smarter, not harder.

“Partnering with Right Fuel Card allows us to extend our telematics expertise to fleets seeking to manage fuel costs effectively.

“Together, we’re providing the tools businesses need to stay competitive and sustainable in an ever-changing landscape.”

The agreement comes days after Right Fuel Card partnered with Rightcharge to support businesses with their electric vehicle (EV) transition alongside their current, traditional fuel needs.

The deal means that Right Fuel Card can now provide fleets with a single public charge card that their drivers can use to pay with company funds at more than 62,000 charge points across 39 networks.
