Select Lease by Mobilize targets salary sacrifice with new partnership

Select Lease by Mobilize has struck a partnership agreement with salary sacrifice software provider SalSac, to launch a new car leasing scheme for employees. 

The new scheme allows employees to sacrifice part of their salary for a new battery electric vehicle (BEV) or plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV).   

Savings, says Select Lease by Mobilize, are normally in the region of 28-60% less than the cost of privately leasing the same vehicle.

SalSac will help with implementation, including employee and employer webinars, salary sacrifice quotations and scheme administration.

In the UK, salary sacrifice for cars is the fastest growing funding method, according to the British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Associations (BVRLA). 

The association’s latest Leasing Outlook report showed that salary sacrifice has increased to a record 51% year-on-year growth.

Fleet News research for last year’s FN50 also reflected the funding method’s growing popularity, reaching its highest market share ever totalling almost 83,000 units, accounting for 6.2% of cars on the FN50 risk fleet. 

Select Lease by Mobilize says the zero-cost structure for employers is at the core of its salary sacrifice offering and, with no minimum company size requirements, it is making its salary sacrifice accessible to more businesses, from SMEs to large enterprises. 

The offering also includes optional features such as early termination insurance and home EV chargers.
