Environmental services company, Sortera, is offering its employees access to an electric vehicle (EV) through an Octopus Energy salary sacrifice scheme.
The EV salary sacrifice scheme is designed to make the switch to EVs financially attractive and accessible to staff, while also contributing to the company's efforts to reduce its carbon footprint.
Mark McCleery, UK managing director of Sortera, said: "We are continuously looking for ways to reduce our environmental impact.
“By partnering with Octopus Energy to introduce this EV salary sacrifice scheme, we’re making it easier for our colleagues to embrace electric vehicles, reduce their carbon footprint, and be part of the green energy revolution.
“This initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to sustainability while also delivering real benefits to our team."
The partnership with Octopus Energy will enables Sortera UK to offer a range of plug-in vehicles to its employees, including maintenance, insurance, and charging solutions, all at a competitive cost through the salary sacrifice programme.
