The estate version of the Vauxhall Insignia is on sale now, with delieveries due later this summer.
It benefits from all the improvements seen on the Grand Sport - including reduced weight and better fuel efficiency.
The same range of engines have been carried over so buyers can choose from a 1.5-litre or 2.0-litre turbo petrol or a 1.6- or 2.0-litre diesel with varying outputs.
The leaner Sports Tourer is roomier and more comfortable than the outgoing model, with the same orthopaedically designed seats as the new Grand Sport.
Luggage capacity is increased to 1,665 litres and the length of the boot has grown by 97mm. While 40/20/40 foldable seats make it even more practical.
New convenience and safety technology will feature, including OnStar connectivity and service assistant - with a concierge service – and an onboard wifi system for up to seven devices.
