Originally billed as a SEAT, the el-Born will now be sold as a Cupra.
It's the second new model to be based on the VW Group’s all-new MEB electric vehicle platform and the group's first 'hot' EV.
It features a 62kWh battery, which gives a range of up to 260-miles. Re-charging can be completed in less than an hour using a 100kW rapid charger, making the car a viable option for higher-mileage users.
A power output of more than 200PS enables a 0-60mph dash of around 7.5 seconds.
