First Vehicle Leasing grows turnover to £2.5m

Glasgow based broker First Vehicle Leasing has accelerated to record growth, having raised its turnover by 25% to £2.5 million.

The company supplied 3200 cars and vans to customers and funded £50 million of vehicle transactions throughout its latest financial year.

Graham McCarthy at First Vehicle Leasing, attributes the record figures to the dramatic growth in the personal vehicle leasing market over recent years.

“65% of our turnover is personal vehicle leasing, rather than the commercial market, and we have benefited from a healthy rise in demand within this market sector,” he said.

“And with new car registrations in the UK reaching a 10 year high last year, to some 2,476,435 new cars, according to figures from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders, having grown by more than 9% over the previous year, we are optimistic that there is ample scope for further significant growth.”
