Fuel Card Services has launched its latest online flip-book from The Green Journey, which offers advice to help fleet managers meet sustainability commitments.
Steve Clarke, group marketing manager, said: “We have been working with all types and sizes of fleets for many years. Now, we are helping fleet managers to enjoy the benefits of our own sustainability experience in achieving industry-leading certifications.”
The new edition of The Green Journey’s sustainability updates begins with a cautionary note for fleets running diesel cars and vans. DEFRA has published draft plans that suggest banning such vehicles from a number of major cities.
“The government is not meeting EU targets on air quality,” said Clarke, “and sees diesel vehicles as a target. It has proposed access controls that would restrict the movements of thousands of vans and cars, without suggesting credible alternatives.”
The free flip-book also highlights the newest Cool Earth rainforest project, urging fleet managers to join in helping with the battle against climate change.
