Motiva Group is targeting an important quality standard as part of a move to increase the size of the business.
The vehicle solutions firm is keen to capitalise on record growth and says ISO9001 accreditation will demonstrate its commitment to quality.
Motiva Group has appointed Stafford-based Quality Systems Consultancy to help deliver the standard, which will include all areas of the business and its subsidiary companies.
But, fleet services manager Peter Clarke insists the company’s quality of service and customer-focused approach will change little either during or after the process, which is expected to take several months.
He said: “The majority of our systems and processes are already up to industry standard and beyond, but ISO9001 will provide official recognition of that.
“The growth of our business over the last few years, coupled with significant investment in our infrastructure, means we’re now being asked to tender for bigger contracts.
“And the quality standard is a frequent requirement of the tender process, particularly from larger private sector fleets as well as those in the public sector.
“It will provide independent verification that our customer-focused approach is built on a quality platform across the entire Motiva Group business, including Motiva Direct, Motiva Vehicle Contracts, M-Way Vehicle Rentals and Motrak telematics.
“It will also give us a reference point and a framework to ensure the business is consistent in its processes and functions and continually striving to improve.”
