20 Minutes from DXB Airport. Project has 43 Cranes, 60,000 Pre-cast elements, 500,000m3 concrete & 1,000,000 + of bulk earthworks. Tax Free Package up to £170,000 . Major projects and desirable locations don't come any better than this.

This role will lead & manage all the Logistics on a Major Project based in Dubai with an associated construction costs of 4 Billion AED ++

Do you enjoy the cut and thrust that comes with major projects, major challenges and thinking outside the box to come up with safe and efficient solutions.

Planning & managing the movement of people, goods, equipment and all associates project facilities. Reporting into the Construction Director taking direct control for a project that will at peak have 6,500 people on site.

You will have a dotted line back into the Logistics Director based in the Head Office.

As the Senior Logistics Manager you will be responsible to provide:

* Construction logistics planning and coordination

* Management of applications, permits , passes and all associated paperwork

* Supervision of site services from cranes, security and entrance points

* Ensuring alongside the Safety team that all sub-contractors, suppliers and individuals on site follow clear instruction to act safely and in the right manner

Can you pull on lessons learnt from Major Projects in the Middle East ideally Airports, Shopping Malls , Hotels and other MAJOR Construction Projects.

You will essentially be the Conductor of the Orchestra as you sequence all elements from deliveries, lifts , passes , inspections, security and so on. On a day to day there can be in the region of 300 + activities all effecting the master plan and success of the project. One element slips and the knock on effect is negative to the site.

Before applying

* Clear strength as a Senior Logistics Manager based on Major Projects

* Minimum of 5 Years experience or 1 Major Project In the Middle East for a Main Contractor

* 15 Years Plus Logistics experience based on site

* Does your CV show loyalty, career progression and success

* Able to commence employment before the 3rd of March absolute latest

* Confident, calm and assured in your communication style to your team, the supply chain and the end client

* On top of the 65,000 AED Package you will have family medical, visas , gratuity , performance bonus & bonus related travel covered

* This is a 6 Day working week on site and you will be expected to manage your diary to ensure the project is a success so some months this will be a 6 day week and others an eleven day fortnight (5/6) it really depends on the success and productivity of your team. You will be expected to set the example for those to follow.
