CITROEN has announced a huge van deal involving 1500 vehicles with the world's largest lift company Otis. The four-year solus deal will see Berlingo, Dispatch and Relay vans supplied on contract hire.

Otis appraised four different manufacturers and opted for Citroen after managers and engineers voted the French maker the best for safety, comfort, ease of driving, load carrying, operational suitability, appearance and wholelife costs. The vehicles will be used mainly by service engineers and will be replaced on a 30-month cycle. Otis is part of the UTS Group and its other companies will now be reviewing their commercial requirements.
