THE 1996 Institute of Car Fleet Management conference will be held on November 13 at Rover's complex at Gaydon near Warwick. This year's conference theme is 'Excellence Wins' which links in with the new style of the ICFM magazine - 'Fleet Excellence' - and the theme that the ICFM creates winners.

This follows recognition at this year's Fleet News Awards for David Lee, fleet administration manager of John Laing, and chairman of the ICFM's training and education committee, and Peter Moxon, a fleet consultant and ICFM secretary, who shared the Special Award.

The conference agenda will include presentations from Freddie Aldous, chairman of EuroDollar and president of the British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association; Malcolm Franks, chief executive of the British Quality Foundation; and Steve Harris, corporate sales director of Rover Cars. Apart from the conference there will be a display of Rover cars, a ride and drive opportunity and a chance to look around the Gaydon museum.

Conference places are only available to ICFM members and there is no charge. Further details are available from the ICFM on 01844 275297.
