BARCLAYS Bank owned Dial Contracts has appointed Brian Fowler as its new chief executive. He replaces John Yardley, who has resigned for personal reasons.

Fowler was formerly head of corporate and international credit with Barclays Bank, and has been responsible for Barclays Business Sector risk management teams in the regions. Dial Contracts funds or manages some 65,000 vehicles in the UK, including Barclays Vehicle Management Services' fleet, making it one of the largest operators in the UK.
