SPECULATION that Cowie Interleasing might expand its company car leasing business to include tanks has been dismissed as '99% unlikely' by a company spokesman.

Last month the Cowie Group won a five-year contract for the provision of materials handling equipment to the Ministry of Defence involving vehicles such as forklift trucks and conveyor belts. This week that prompted speculation that the Army could go into battle in rented tanks.
