FLEET Cost Management is to provide a single NatWest branded card to the bank's company car drivers for the purchase of all maintenance and breakdown recovery needs.
Further details of FCM's deal with NatWest Group Vehicle Services emerged this week - three weeks after it was revealed that the two companies had signed a contract under which FCM would maintain the bulk of NatWest's 12,000-strong fleet (Fleet News October 11).
The deal involves the provision of maintenance management and driver administration. FCM technicians will pre-authorise maintenance work on NatWest cars from their Solihull headquarters, ensuring rigorous cost-control has been satisfied. Vehicle administration duties such as the issuing of tax discs and recharging of motoring fines will be handled by FCM.
