FLEET Cost Management has won the contract to manage a 280-vehicle fleet on behalf of Independent Insurance. FCM won an eight way tender to take the business, which involves a mixed fleet of essential user vehicles with a high element of choice.

Independent's facilities manager Chris Trickett said: 'We were looking for cradle-to-grave fleet management including services such as daily rental, accident management and vehicle acquisition. FCM stood out thanks to its competitive pricing and professional attitude. The whole operation was uniformly impressive.'
