VAUXHALL is offering £600 off a new Astra 1.6 in an unrepeatable restricted offer to fleet operators. The special deal enables all VAT-registered companies to buy an Astra 1.6 LS hatchback for the same price as the 1.4 model.

A voucher gives buyers the chance to trade up to the new 8-valve 1.6 unit which delivers more power and better fuel economy than the 1.4 engine.

On top of the initial discount, users will be able to capitalise on fuel economy which is more than 10% better than its two main 1.6 rival models but still develops 75 PS to deliver a top speed of 106 mph and a 0-60 time of 13.5 seconds. Standard equipment includes the usual range of Vauxhall security equipment and electric front windows.
