VAUXHALL has announced a special edition version of the Calibra based on the 2.0 litre eight valve engined car. It will be called the SE6 - because it is the sixth in a series of special editions - and adds air conditioning, leather trim and alloy wheels to the standard car. Just one colour is available - Iceland blue.

At £18,500 the Calibra SE6 is £200 less than the 2.0 eight valve Calibra with leather trim and £15 below the 2.0 16 valve with cloth interior. Just 500 of the SE6s will be available in what is seen as a summer promotion.
