FOLLOWING another record year, Caffyns Motor Contracts is considering expansion by opening an office in the north.

Managing director Michael Whorton said the move would provide a well placed location to service existing northern accounts, as well as an opportunity to win new business. The company's fleet now stands at 2,500.

The Caffyns Group plc has announced annual profits to March 31, 1996 slightly down at £510,000 compared to £557,000 for the previous year. It recorded a profit of £926,000, during the first four months of this year, however, nearly twice the sum for the same period in 1995, and the group claims the outlook from May to August is bright.
