MITSUBISHI has announced its first ever rental deal with 100 Space Wagon seven-seat people carriers being bought by Avis Rent A Car. Deliveries of the manual and automatic transmission versions of the 2.0 litre petrol engined Mitsubishi Space Wagons, complete with range-topping diamond option pack specification, will start immediately.

Following the announcement of Mitsubishi's first move into the rental sector, sales director Andrew Wenzel said: 'With our ambitious sales expansion plans for the UK well underway, clearly the more of our vehicles on the road, the greater public exposure Mitsubishi Motors will enjoy. With around 80% of the Space Wagons being sold to Avis scheduled to be driven by corporate customers, the awareness of the Mitsubishi product will be raised in this important market sector.
