AVIS Fleet Services has secured the contract to provide funding and fleet management for Knoll Pharmaceuticals' 350 vehicle fleet. Part of the BASF Pharma group, Knoll specialises in the research, development, production and marketing of specialist medicines.

Knoll's vehicle fleet was previously managed by its parent company, but BASF inherited the vehicles after acquiring the company from Boots Pharmaceuticals in April. Avis won the solus deal on the flexibility of the package put forward to solve its dedicated fleet management needs.
