VAUXHALL has followed Ford with an across-the-board price rise of an average 1.7% with effect from Monday, August 19. Although Tigra, Monterey, Brava and Midi van prices remain unchanged, all the mainstream models are subject to the increase.

Vectra prices rise by an average 2.3% while Omega prices get an average 0.9% hike. The increases are expected to be followed by significant specification changes - particularly on Vectra - for the 1996/97 model year.
