DIAL has entered into a new partnership agreement with Hermes Technical Consultants to improve its Dial Assure accident management service.

Under the agreement, Hermes, one of the largest independent insurance assessors in the UK, will evaluate vehicle damage and monitor repair work throughout Dial's network of 150 approved bodyshops. It will use video conferencing technology, to make damage assessments and ensure repairs are done with minimum delay

Dial Assure director Mike Betts said the bodyshop market place was in decline and the only way to guarantee quality and consistency was through strictly monitored operating guarantees.
