DELICE de France has signed a five-year contract hire deal worth £500,000 to obtain a temperature-controlled fleet. The contract has gone to TDG's vehicle rental specialist, Swift.

Swift has supplied five Renault Xtra vans, eight Mercedes Benz Sprinter 312s with 3.5 tonne Lamberet boxes and four Mercedes Benz 814s with 7.5 tonne Reep refrigerated boxes to the frozen bakery product supplier.

The fleet will transport imported part-baked and frozen bread as well as ovens and display cases to shops, restaurants and cafes including the Cafe Rouge chain.
