DIXON Motors - one of the UK's fastest growing dealer groups - has announced an 85% increase in profits with a 134% rise in new car sales.
The Yorkshire-based company has taken on 17 new dealerships over the past three years, and bought the Gordon Plunkett parts distribution operation in July. New franchises have included Ford, Nissan, Citroen, Peugeot and Renault in such areas as Scunthorpe and Sheffield. Pre-tax profits reached £2.35 million on a turnover of £124.47m. 4512 new cars and 7472 used cars were sold.
