MERCEDES has announced changes for the S-class coupe. From now on it will be called the CL. A mid-range coupe to be launched in the UK next year will be called the CLK and these two cars will form the Mercedes family of coupes.

Meanwhile, additional safety features have been added to the standard specification, including the parktronic system (to aid parking), side airbags, a passenger seat occupancy sensor, rain sensor and extra luggage nets in the front passenger footwell and boot.
