BMW'S new finance operations in the UK have recruited two well known fleet industry figures.

Jim MacDonald has been appointed managing director of Rover Financial Services, a new division which comes into being in May 1998 to handle retail finance for Rover, MG, and Land Rover. He is the former RAC director, corporate sector - motoring division. Martin Haley has been appointed marketing manager of BMW Financial Services' new multi-marque leasing company, which has yet to be named. He is the former marketing manager of Highway Vehicle Leasing, and before that was at Lease Plan. BMW has yet to announce where the new operations will be based.
