BURY-based telecommunications business, The Nationwide Telephone Company, has taken delivery of a fleet of 50 bright red Vauxhall Vectras which will be added to its usual white service fleet. Supplied by Vauxhall dealer Bristol Street Manchester, the vehicles are on a contract hire package through Bristol Street Motors' contract hire subsidiary Autolease.

The addition of the vehicles to the company's fleet follows the takeover of the Granada Group's telecommunications business and a resulting expansion in service staff. The Vectras, which will be based at Nationwide offices across the country, will be used in the company's servicing operation and cover up to 30,000 miles a year.
