CAP has extensively revamped its Monitor projected residual values guide with the addition of a raft of new information services. Out now and dealing with cars first registered between January and July this year, the new Monitor includes information on wider aspects of the running cost equation such as maintenance charges and fuel consumption figures.

Pence per mile league tables are supported by all-new pie and bar chart graphics to make the information instantly understandable and accessible.

The new Monitor is the result of more than two years' development work and CAP operations director Andrew Wilkinson said nobody, until now, had been able to provide such a comprehensive source of accurate running cost information. 'This, we believe, is a market leader, a definitive new product,' said Wilkinson. 'For as well as this new service, Monitor now contains new bar and pie charts, so that the expanded information is even easier and faster to assimilate. We have moved on from just providing future residual values thanks to the best part of 24 months of research.'
