TOYOTA'S niche Picnic family vehicle will start at less than £16,000 on the road. The entry level Picnic GS carries an on-the-road price tag of £15,840 while the flagship Picnic GX auto comes in at £19,680.
These prices make the Picnic GS £1,700 cheaper than a Volkswagen Sharan, £400 less than a Volkswagen Passat GL estate and £1,000 less than a Ford Mondeo GLX estate. Standard equipment across the range includes an alarm and immobiliser, a tonneau cover for the cargo area, remote central locking, electric windows and power door mirrors, while the GX features twin sunroofs, a radio upgrade and alloy wheels.
