AVIS EUROPE has won British Airways' official approval as its preferred car rental partner worldwide. The three-year deal gives the recently floated rental company access to the 38 million passengers BA carries each year - many of them businessmen requiring in-bound car rental.

Avis, who won the business from Hertz Rent A Car, will offer special rates and unique products and services through its 175-destination network in 160 countries.
