ENVIRONMENTAL issues have become a focal point for fleet policies in recent months and at the 1997 Fleet Motor Show a special environmental handbook will be available FREE to all visitors.

Sponsored by Shell Fuel and Fleet Services and written by fleet consultant and Fleet News columnist Stewart Whyte the 20-page handbook - 'The Fleet Motor Show Environmental Handbook' - will detail best fleet environmental practice. The handbook will be distributed to all visitors as they enter the show, to be held at Silverstone from April 29-May 2. In addition show visitors will be able to collect copies from selected stands.

So far 2,618 fleet chiefs have signed up to attend the show and more than 100 service companies have booked to exhibit, as well as 23 motor manufacturers. The latest companies to book are van racking company H-Modul, vehicle warning light system company Federal Signal and dent remover Chipsaway.
