VISITORS and exhibitors to Fleet Motor Show - which takes place at Silverstone from April 29-May 2 - will be kept up to date with the general election result.

On May 1(election day) and May 2 the Kwik-Fit Fleet-sponsored radio station Fleet FM broadcasting on 87.7FM within an eight-10-mile radius of the show will keep visitors abreast of election news as well as keeping them informed of all show news and events. Also, Televisions will be brought into the exhibition hall so show visitors and exhibitors can watch election coverage live.

In addition Fleet News is to assemble on its stand a panel of industry experts who will give their views on the outcome of the election and possible effects on the fleet industry. These people will also be available to answer questions.

Currently 133 companies have booked to exhibit at the show with luxury car maker Lexus this week confirming its attendance. To date 13,143 fleet chiefs have registered to attend the event. The next show registration form will appear in Fleet News on April 11, but registration can be made by phoning 0181 390 0203. To book a stand contact Sue Scotney on 01733 467033.
