ALAMO has launched an all-in car hire package for UK travellers bewildered by the range of options available to them when renting a car in the US. Alamo Gold includes all the 'extras' which are taken for granted in the UK, but classed as optional in the US - plus one or two bonuses.

The package is designed to prevent customers being 'hassled' into buying unnecessary insurance while providing enough protection should they be involved in an accident. The Gold package includes collision damage waiver, extended protection, state surcharges, state taxes and airport taxes - so there is nothing more for the renter to pay when he picks up the car.
