ROVER has unveiled a new 600 range with revised suspension, new styling features, and a 1.8% average increase in prices - simultaneously there is a 1.4% rise on Rover 800 models. A new model, the 620Di, joins the line-up, offering air conditioning as standard for an on-the-road price of £16,940. The new entry-level diesel is set to offer the lowest cost of ownership of any 600 model.

Greater use of body coloured styling further improves the highly-acclaimed exterior design, and two new paint colours are added to the range. The recently introduced 620GSi now costs £20,140, with leather trim, electric windows all round, electric sunroof, passenger airbag and air conditioning as standard. Anti-lock brakes are featured from the 618Si upwards, with other safety features including driver's airbag, rear stop lamp, lap and diagonal centre rear seat belt.
