FLEETS are turning to contract hire and leasing as a method of vehicle operation in increasing numbers, according to early figures from the annual British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association's statistical membership survey.

First indications show a significant year-on-year increase in the sector over 1995, following the trend of the previous two years.
