A NEW driver training venture has opened for fleet operators wanting to send their drivers on a course of defensive driver training at a venue north of the border. The new facility - at Knockhill Circuit north of Edinburgh - is Scotland's only skid-pan centre and was opened by Scottish Touring Car star John Clelland.

The centre has a choice of front and rear wheel drive cars and a team of fully qualified ADI instructors. Courses run both mid-week and at weekends and the centre is particularly keen to promote Knockhill is an hour away from Edinburgh and Glasgow and further details are available from the centre on 01383 720099.
