AROUND 150 delegates are expected to attend the second European Car and Truck Rental Association Congress to be held in Barcelona next week. The event will be held at the Hotel Fira Palace on Wednesday (May 14) and Thursday (May 15), following an ECATRA assembly meeting at the hotel earlier in the week, and will bring together leading leasing and rental industry figures from across Europe.

The theme of the congress, sponsored by Vauxhall, Opel and SEAT, will be the future of the rental and leasing industries. The event, being organised on behalf of ECATRA by EMAP Automotive Events, will be opened at 9am on Wednesday by ECATRA president Freddie Aldous, who is also president of the British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association.
