KWIK-Fit chairman and chief executive Tom Farmer received a knighthood in the Queen's Birthday Honours for services to the automotive industry.

Among other people to be honoured was Michael Robotham, chairman of the Institute of Advanced Motorists, for services to road safety, who received an OBE.
