NEW wholelife cost comparison tables from TopCalc on which Volkswagen bases its wholelife cost guarantee scheme reveals there is no manufacturer support for the recently launched Passat.

The figures compare wholelife costs for Volkswagen models against equivalent Ford and Vauxhall vehicles with TopCalc figures predicting the Passat to be more cost-effective to run than equivalent Ford Mondeo and Vauxhall Vectra models by up to £1,752 over three years/60,000 miles.
