ALEX Sard has resigned from HSS Hire Service Group after 17 years with the company, five as fleet manager.

Sard, who has been involved with the Naval Reserve for many years, will be working on a project for the Royal Navy for the rest of this year, but plans to return to the fleet industry in 1998.
