FLEET driver Stephen Robson, depot manager for Linpac Plastics, has won the Times-Lease Plan Company Car Driver of the Year competition.

Over 300 drivers from 100 companies entered the event, with 12 competitors making it through to the final at Silverstone racing circuit. There they faced a series of tests, including controlling a skid car, high speed motorway exercises, manoeuvring skills, and on-the-road driving.

Runner-up was Jonathan Popple, a consultant with DenPlan, with Hitachi Credit senior sales executive April Carrington coming a close third. Office furniture manufacturers Kinnarps UK secured the team prize.
