DAEWOO displayed its smallest model - the d'ARTS City - at the Frankfurt Show, as it prepares to enter the sub-B segment next year. The new one-box mini, formerly known as the M100 - will be delivered to dealers in the autumn of 1998, by when the three new fleet models shown alongside the d'ARTS - the Lanos, Nubira and Leganza - will be established on the UK market.
'The new small car will contribute to our success in gaining market share in a highly competitive field not formerly possible with our former model range,' said a spokesman for Daewoo.
In the UK company car market, Daewoo's fleet department under Stewart Wright is planning to expand its operations with the launch of the four new vehicles, which approximate in size to the Renault Twingo, the Rover 200 and 400, and the Ford Mondeo.
