MONDIAL Assistance has won the contract to provide a nationwide emergency assistance service to Land Rover customers using a dedicated fleet of Land Rover vehicles. Under the terms of the contract, won from the AA, Mondial will operate a dedicated emergency assistance network under which it will own and operate a fleet of 50 TDi Land Rover Discoverys.

Every vehicle is equipped with the approved parts and tools necessary to provide roadside assistance and each vehicle will be driven by a technician wearing a Land Rover uniform. Each technician has been trained to identify and repair faults on all Land Rover models. At the heart of the new service - believed to be an industry first - is a dedicated assistance operations centre manned 24 hours a day by product-trained co-ordinators.
