HIGHWAY Vehicle Leasing has changed its name and revealed a new logo - almost a year after the company was bought by General Guarantee, the finance division of retail giant General Universal Stores. The new name, Highway Vehicle Management, better describes the full range of the company's car and commercial vehicle services, according to managing director Colin McLean.

Previously the company, which operates a fleet of more than 18,000 cars and commercial vehicles in the UK, had separate names for the different sections of its business - Highway Contract Hire and Leasing and Highway Truck Lease - and last year it added Highway White Arrow, previously White Arrow Contract Hire, which was already loaned by GUS. 'The new name is a much better reflection of the total vehicle management services that we offer to our wide range of customers', said McLean.
