CITROEN has given a new look to the Synergie MPV adding extra equipment and value for money to the X, SX and new Exclusive models. The revised models will not go on sale until early November - prices are to be announced later this month.

The Exclusive-badged model replaces the range-topping VSX and brings the Synergie trim levels into line with other Citroen models. While the familiar engine line-up of 1.9 TD and 2.0-litre petrol have been retained all Synergies now feature twin airbags as standard, while most models boast air conditioning, ABS, twin sunroofs and six electric windows.

At the front the latest Citroen Synergie gains a new corporate grille, enlarged chevrons, plus modified headlamps and fog lamps in keeping with the Citroen Saxo, Xsara and Xantia. New black window surrounds on the two middle pillars blend the Synergie's bodywork with the window areas while the new chunky, body-coloured painted side mouldings are designed to create a more complete, robust and integrated look.
